For the ultimate in frugal crafting, paint a rock!My kids love to play with water and a recent day led them to "wash" some rocks they found. Since they were now clean, I brought out some non-toxic acrylic paints and let them paint them up. We got everything from animals to food to abstract designs. We had a wonderful afternoon together laughing and creating.
