It is so nice to have our two little girls to celebrate fall with us. So far this year, we have had lots of fun! Last week, we went to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. Over the weekend, we made a jack-o-lantern and caramel apples.
After we carved the pumpkin, we baked and pureed the some of the pulp to make a yummy pumpkin gooey butter cake. Then, we skillet toasted the pumpkin seeds for an extra treat. The girls have been coloring in their Halloween coloring books and we have been reading our favorite Halloween book, The Pumpkin Patch Parable. This fall, it has been so much fun celebrating the change of the season. I hope you are enjoying your fall as well. Celebrating fall works for me!
