We are fortunate enough to live relatively close to an aquarium. Our kids love the aquarium and ask to go there all the time. Now that we are doing some preschool activities with our oldest daughter, I consider it a “field trip” to go to the aquarium. I try to use the time pointing out things as we walk through helping her learn.
An aquarium is a great place for kids to have fun and learn in a very family friendly atmosphere. They offer memberships that nearly pay for themselves in a few trips and invite members for special programs and events.
