Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Last year, I found a great cranberry sauce recipe. It uses fresh or frozen cranberries and the red color looks absolutely beautiful in the middle of your Thanksgiving Feast. We buy our cranberries in bulk at Costco and they keep very well in the freezer.

Homemade Cranberry Sauce

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
12 oz. package of fresh or frozen cranberries

Combine the water and sugar in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the cranberries and return to a boil. Lower the heat to medium and boil gently for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate until serving time.

I hope you try this recipe for Thanksgiving this year, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for joining us for Menu Plan Monday.
