Banana Bread
1-1/2 c all-purpose flour
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 c mashed bananas
1 egg
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c natural applesauce
We use our stand mixer and mix it until blended, leaving the batter a bit lumpy. Spray bottom of loaf pan and add the mixture. Bake at 350 for 50 to to 55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the loaf comes out clean.

Yum! That looks really good. The recipe I use for Banana Bread is from an OLD Betty Crocker recipe book.
ReplyDeleteyumm! Does the applesauce keep it moist? I usually use oil but would love a healthier version!
ReplyDeleteYes, the applesauce takes the place of the oil! Still very moist, but a bit healthier!
ReplyDeleteI have some ripe bananas calling my name. I'm gonna make your bread today.
